Great race is you want to visit Louisville and see what the derby craze is about. While I really enjoy the race, the expo might be my favorite part. I have run the Full and Half Marathon distances, but I am reviewing the 13.1 since it is my favorite of the two. The course is a nice tour around historic downtown as well as a little turn through Churchill downs. Aid stations are always full of exciting people, but later runners do tend to get hot drinks. The after race is also a great time with lots of vendors and plenty to do around the finish line area. Can you believe I had sch a good time just taking it all in, I didn't get one photo. Also the new medal series is an absolute must for anyone from Louisville!
