I ran the Kaiser Permanente San Francisco 5K in 2015 and had a wonderful experience. This year, I decided to run the 10K and had just as good of a time. This was a very well-organized race and a perfect place to run fast and PR in the 5K, 10K, and half marathon. You also get to run in Golden Gate Park and since you're there you might as well stay and enjoy the park and nearby restaurants. The finisher's medal was neat with the tiny windmill and it looks like a stand so it can sit on a table.
