Jordan 's thoughts:

I'm torn by this race. My result for it was not my best and I blame my choice of a Brazillian Burger on Friday night and a lot of Merlot Saturday night while watching Rocky III. I also learned to not be dependent on my GPS as it was all over the place while running the first 5 miles in the loop. However...when looking from the outside, the race was great. You get to see some good parts of Chicago and it was organized well. I did not like that there were no bands till mile 5. I wear music so it didn't hurt me but for others that expected it, I'm sure it was disappointing. I prefer last years course but things change and we must adjust.

For anyone looking to do a half in July in Chicago, I would suggest this. It is fun and post race show was cool too. I prefer different beer but oh well. I look forward to doing it again next year to get a better time. I also love doing Chicago races cause I get to be a part of so many PRs of friends and it's amazing to see their joy.
