I keep coming back for the chocolate. I have run this race 5 years, and I will keep coming back. The pre & post race part, along with the chocolate makes up for all the hills you encounter on the route. The DJ played all the tunes to get you pumped before the race and the tunes to make you dance afterwards. A soul train line even formed this year, and the smiles were great to see after Covid knocked out this race in 2021. I highly recommend you giving this race a try and experience what the Queen City has to offer.
