Overall, a very popular and fun race. It has an amazing backdrop, as you overlook the NYC skyline the entire time, and finish around a small park that just out into the river.

Before the race, with everyone in costumes milling about in the park, people were stretching and jogging while people picked up their packets. The race time got pushed back 10 minutes, which was enough to get everyone situated.

At the start, they had people line up in waves by estimated pace, which helped ease congestion at the start. I LOVE when races do this, instead of everyone filing in together, and it really, really helped as we were starting on a fairly narrow street.

Just one water/aid station on the out-and-back course, but that's all you really need.

Post-run, they had more goodies than you could shake a stick at. Really wonderful setup and great to watch the little kids run their race too!

Parking was a breeze in the city, as there are a lot of local parking lots if you couldn't find street parking.

Overall, one of the best races!
