Finish at the 50 is one of my favorite Fourth of July weekend races in New England. It starts just outside Gillette Stadium, and then runs through residential areas of Foxborough on a rolling hills course. The finish is the best part though... after circling the stadium, the 10k runs through the tunnel and out onto the field, finishing on the 50-yard line, with the stands full of spectators cheering. The finish is broadcast on the stadium Jumbotrons, with Patriots cheerleaders lining the chute. What an awesome experience! Following the race, there were fireworks over Patriots Place. An awesome experience and can't wait to do it again!
