A fun trail Half Marathon inside scenic Oak Ridge Prairie in Griffith Indiana. Proceeds for this events will help out Juvenial Diabetes. You have a chose of either running the half marathon distance or the quarter marathon distance. The course was 90% trails inside the shaded wooded area. The trails were flat and smooth running. One big hill was added to the course which made it challenge.

The overall racing experience was enjoyable for a park trail event. I would recommend better race directions and volunteers trained on knowing the route for a couple of runners got confused on the second loop of the course. Overall the race is low-key but very enjoyable.
