The city of Trezzo sull'Adda is not very big and there are a lot of people who participated at this run so I had problems to park my car. I went with a marathoner senior who bought my ticket in advance for me, but we not ran together because he wanted to run the half maraton and I wanted the 8K. We ran in different street and he forgot to give me my ticket.
The race started in sloping flat, we turned in a downhill road near the castle and continued on trail near the river of Adda. The scenery was outstanding, near the Adda at 8:00 a.m. an incredible atmosphere filled the air of mystery. There were swans , ducks and the fog on the river was almost magical.
When I found the aid station, people asked me to show the ticket to have a glass of water... I unfortunately had not my ticket with me because Mr. Francesco had it! In all the race I ran nobody ask me to show my race documents to have water; I was surprised for this organization, but I continued to run without complains because in my backpack I had my personal water bottle.
The race continued on steep slope uphill dirt road then in the street and yes... it was amazing! I won the battle me against me and run 8K totally alone.
