This was my first CIM and fourth marathon. The race was promoted very well and logistics were outstanding. Well done, folks. It's a fast course, but the rollers in the first half of the race will really take it out of your quads if you go out too fast. I had a PR goal of 2:45 and I hit my mark. Weather was brisk at the start (~39F) and about 50F at the finish. Spectators, bands, and volunteers all made the event a delight (delightful except for that last 6 miles, of course) I left the race with warm fuzzies.
