This is a great race, with only minor elevation changes (this Florida girl considers it pretty flat). It’s very well organized and the locals are super friendly. I’ve done this race 3x and it’s currently my PR half. I’ll keep going back even though it’s a 9 hour drive.

There’s timers every mile calling out time, aid stations every 2 miles and a competition for spirit (chear) stations. Despite not being the most scenic of courses, it’s relatively shaded and the medals are legit.
