Running in Florida in February is great. The races started early enough (7 ish for the 10k) that it wasn't too hot. Even the tail end of the half marathon in the late morning was still comfortable. The course is on local roads and through a local park. Except for a couple miles in a residential neighborhood, you can see ocean almost the entire time. It was well-marked with plenty of friendly volunteers. The closest thing the course has to a hill is a couple very gradual inclines.

The aid stations ran out of gels by the time the 2:30 half marathoners got to them. The Gatorade was super sugary, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing and could always be diluted with water. Aid station volunteers were really friendly.

The race had some logistical difficulty this year and all the race times were delayed. It was difficult to hear the announcer at the beginning try to explain what was going on, plus, most of what she was saying was shilling for upcoming races. Parking was a mess. We got there early and had trouble finding a spot.

The expo the day before the race was outdoors at the race start/finish. It was nice to be able to see the start/finish area ahead of time so we knew where to go in the morning. There wasn't much to the expo and no one was inclined to hang out at it because of the rainy weather that day.
