What a treat to get to do this race! Not your typical marathon. Spend a few minutes and read about the Bastards of Bataan. Course is part unpaved and sandy. Substantial elevation change after mile 8 for a few miles. A great chance to see some real awesome humanity overcoming service injuries. Take some time to absorb this race and the location. Really enjoyed it.
