The Aquarium of the Pacific 5k was SO fun!

Bib pick up: You can get your bibs at the expo the day before or race morning. There is even gear check if you don't want to walk back to your car with your stuff on race morning.

Parking: Super easy! The aquarium lot is open and the parking at The Pike is open.

Course: Scenic and fun! You do go over an overpass which may be a little difficult for the little ones participating in the race. But going around the light house and watching the sunrise over Long Beach was great. AND you can't beat going through the aquarium! The finish line is right outside of the aquarium doors.

Other: There were 2 water stops on the course. You get a goodie bag at the finish, so no need to try to juggle all the things they hand you. The medal and shirt were cool! Can't wait to do it again next year! It was a great shake out run to prepare for the marathon.
