This is my third year running this race. It is seriously such a blast and a great race for beginners or experienced runners alike! The expo is small but they make sure you are filled with chocolate goodies before you leave. The best part of this race (besides all the chocolate) is the SWAG! Every year this race series has some high quality jackets/zip ups/ hoodies and this year was no different. After the race, I wore my hoodie and I got so many compliments. The price of the race and the race management alone is a great reason to sign up!

The course is common if you're a Houston native as many races use this same route. The on course support was great with Water and Nuun hydration stops. There was also some chocolate on course! The goodies await at the end of the course with a cute mug filled with chocolate goodies such as hot chocolate and melted chocolate with goodies to dip into it. This year both the 5k and 15k runners received a medal! Give this race a shot and you'll leave smiling!
