I think Hot Chocolate did the virtual thing well. I don't think many in-person events want to do a virtual instead, but the crew at Hot Chocolate did all the could to make your virtual experience fun. From the national anthem video, email communications, results, photos, and post-race "party," they made you feel like you were part of a real event, rather than just running on a regular day of the week. As it's reputation...the swag is AWESOME! The jacket is super nice this year (good quality and fit and has a removable hood!) and the medal is great!
