I was picked, opted-in to this race, from BibRave. I had a great time promoting this event. I got to be creative, included videos, pictures, as well as text. My promotion was around the concept of giving yourself the gift of health this winter.
As for the course, I got to create it. I had the first 5.5. miles figured out. And as I got close to home I hit 6.2 miles (perfect distance). I carried a hydration pack (I have autoimmune diseases that cause dehydration so I need to carry water on a 5K or greater). I live streamed my run through Facebook and had people on and off the entire race.
The swag is really nice and arrived on time. The zip up jacket, with zipper pockets and hood, is comfortable and warm. The beanie is great. I am bald and this keeps my head and ears warm. The medal is nice. And the final item is the custom bib with your name on it.
Since I was promoting the race I had friends who ran the 10K also. I was able to include them in my final promotion.
I had a great time and highly recommend this event.
