What's that saying about the biggest bar night of the year being the night before Thanksgiving? Well, maybe Thanksgiving morning is the biggest morning for running. And if you're running on Thanksgiving, there's no finer place to do it, no better people to do it with, and no better charity to support. These are some of the reasons the event has become so popular. But keep in mind that the course is lumpy in the first two miles before it flattens out for the final three. And the weather is generally very, very cold. So, get out there to enjoy the closed course, the people dressed up like turkeys and cooks, before sitting down for a Thanksgiving meal.
