I wanted one of those Finisher shirts that I see on LFT so badly. Why? I was new to racing. Looked cool and wanted to be part of the cool crowd. I thought this was where people got them. Instead, I got a crappy tech tee that doesn't breathe and a medal (cool, I guess?). It's your standard start-at-the-museum-campus race.

They shut down the streets and have limited turns. Guess what that means? PR your heart away! Oh, stop at Joy Yee and buy a bubble drink after.

I don't remember much, but I remember the course being somewhat confusing. I guess that's the French way. I liked the Helium shirt I got. I think I got a free beer.

I'm trying to be positive, but I had to clue where to turn around, nor 3 other lead runners. We ended up running 5mi, not 5k. Cotton shirt. I was a LivingSocial deal. Fail.

I actually did the 10k. It's your standard out and back 10k.
