The logistics of this race were easy and smooth. The parking directions were clear and the start line was organized (with plenty of porta potties). The course was mainly flat, a few small hills but nothing strenuous. The Glacier park that you run through is pretty but I would say that the course scenery is a bit more on the boring side. The after party is at a Mexican restaurant and includes a free margarita, chips/salsa/queso which was a great touch.

I was able to complete this race as part of my quest to run a half in every state while in Alaska for work. I was out there taking pictures the whole time because it was just so pretty! You run along the water for a good part of the race and spend a little under 2 miles on a trail. It’s really pretty but just be aware that you do go off road!

This race is so much fun! The lap around the Indianapolis race track is for sure the highlight but everything is extremely organized and very well done! The expo is a ton of fun, the shirts were very high quality and the time of year for Indy is perfect. This is one of the best half marathons I've ever done!

The spectators and crowd support at this race is super fun! Most of the participants are out there to have fun and party on the streets. You don't run down Bourbon street but the course takes you around some other very picturesque areas of New Orleans. It's also super flat, the only thing that would probably make it tough to run a fast time here is that there are a lot of runners and the course can get quite crowded.
