Other than tough parking, everything else about this race is awesome. Great, fast course through North Portland near University of Portland with aid stations and people cheering throughout. While it's certainly not a huge race, many people come out to support the runners and it's an all-around great time. I've run the half and it's always a great time.

Great race experience and the only race in Portland to go over the Fremont Bridge. Race organizers do a great job putting on the race and as you can tell by the name, you finish up with nice cold brews. The race is in April, so typically the temperature is perfect for fast time. While there's one large hill up the bridge, you then fly down the other side.

The race goes across a couple of Portland bridges and starts/ends near the MODA Center (Portland Trail Blazers arena). It's a fairly flat and fast course (5k/10k/Half/Kids race) with awesome race management and expo quality. You finish with a rose along with a medal and typical glass of mimosa. One of my favorite races in Portland and all proceeds go to a great organization in Albertina Kerr.
