This is my second year running The Tulsa Run 15K and even though I didn't PR like last year, I still had a good time. I like the lightweight hoodies, but they see through easily. The expo is small and simple and I like the custom design your shirt/hoodie experience where you get to pick a shirt and design for a good price. Love the medal design this year, it reflects on Tulsa's image a little bit. The things I didn't like is that there was no Finish line photo opportunity and they almost ran out of food at the end of the race, but I appreciate the $3 off coupon at Mcalesters to make up for it. The new course is not as hilly and I love the support on the course this year. I'm planning to come back next year, but don't know if I'll be doing the 15K again or just do the 5K.

This was my second year running the OKC Marathon. Last year was my first time and this race is so memorable for me because not only I ran my first Half Marathon last year, but it means so much for the families and city involved with the bombing. The course is hilly and it was pretty hot on race day, but the volunteers and marathon people kept everyone hydrated and taken care of during course and I was cramping bad between the middle and end of the race and so glad to have medical staff to help me at least make it. The city rolls out the red carpet for runners and I love the bus transportation before and after the race from hotels. I would love to come back, but I'm taking a break in 2019 because I'm planning to run at Disney World in April. I recommend this race though!

Last year (2016), was my first time running in the Route 66, but it was just the 5K and I volunteered at the expo and cheered with some co-workers as spectators during the marathon. I remember as I was cheering it gave me motivational to do it this year, but do the Half-Marathon and 5K (doubler). This year was my second year running Route 66, I absoulety loved the swag gear (long sleeved jacket and shirt) as it became useful for a cold weekend. Loved the scenery on the half-marathon route with fall-like season and running on Brookside where there was a lot of people. The only con I have to say is the aid stations, I needed some medical help with a leg cramp half way through and got a little confused of where it's at and plus I thought there would be more water stations like on the map, but didn't see too much. However, I love the finish line party with the food, entertainment and lines weren't that long for medical and messages to help treat my cramps and loved how its all spaced out. I am looking forward to coming back next year.
