The Manitoba Marathon was the 3rd half marathon I had ever run and my 3rd half marathon in 2015. It was also the largest race I had participated in as all my races to that date were local events.

There was no on site parking so I had parked my car and taken the shuttle to the starting line. The shuttles were plentiful and I didn't feel any stress about arriving on time.

The bag drop and staging area were well organized and didn't add any stress despite the number of people who would be starting together between the relay and first wave of 1/2 marathon starting at the same time.

Aid stations were well spaced however it would have been useful for planners like myself to have the explicit distances between stations.

The finish in the stadium was a nice touch as there was plenty of noise to carry runners over the line.

I appreciated the care taken by the volunteers in the finisher tents as the food variety was excellent and the lines moved very quickly.
