Overall a good race. I have participated in quite a few of the 5 star race productions events and I am a big fan. I am not a fan of the Battleship as a race venue since I have had a few incidents (not the fault of 5 Star Race Productions) to include flooding, as it is a coastal area that is subject to high tide, lack of parking and a shortage of porta potties. Now, that being said, there were at least 50 porta-potties on site, but as there were several thousand racers and spectators, I was unable to utilize the facilities pre-race. A circumstance that made the first 5 miles of the race very interesting. I was also disappointed that there was not another porta-pottie until mile 5. Something my self and the other runners in that line at the mile marker 5 porta-pottie discussed while dancing in line. But there was beer at the finish, Marines to bestow your medals, pizza, and for those who completed the three race series, a second medal. Overall a good race. Not to be missed! HF#12780
