Great race as usual. So many beautiful views and the volunteers are awesome. Tshirt this year was not the greatest if you compare it to the quality of the shirts you get in Victoria. The medals also looked almost the same as last year. I would prefer variety in my medals from year to year if possible more then just a year change. If you have never done this race you should!

This is my 2nd time completing this race. It is a 4km loop around the paved version of Tynehead Park. Very scenic and a lot of shade for the first 4 and last 4 hours of the race. This year was exceptionally hot but I managed to put in as best i could. The event has a pot luck style aid station at the Start/Finish that you see every 4km. The people at the event are all pretty fun and encouraging people. The course had inspirational saying written on the path in chalk that added to the experience. Every runner was provided chalk to add their own so the more you went around the more you saw new words.

This race is great for people trying to get a further distance in a safe environment. One lady I saw ran/walked her first marathon. I did 58 km that day my furthest to date.

This was my day 2 of back to back marathons so was happy that they had an early start. I wore my kilt and superman shirt for this race. The aid stations are amazing and fulled me with energy to push me on to a PB. There was a good variety of water side and forest portions of this run which stays on a paved and sometimes gravel path. Amazing food at the end. Shirt was a long sleeve technical shirt, received a water bottle and a standard custom medal.
