The Big Sur International Marathon is widely regarded as one of the most scenic races in America and it’s obvious why. From views of mountains and oceans, to redwoods and the iconic Bixby Bridge, the race organizers pull out all the stops to make every mile of this course memorable.

Yes, the course is known for being hilly. But as one runner put it, “What hills?
