This a great, flat half-marathon! Lots of runners, lots of race support while on the course, and a decent crowd to cheer you on. Even though it's a big race, it doesn't feel crowded. I highly recommend this race for half-marathon first-timers. Just be mindful: it can be very hot in Chicago in mid-July.
